Mouse Driver update won't install
For the record, I put in the PS/2 mouse, Microsoft natural keyboard, Digital Equipment 15" monitor specs right out of the manual, and the exact S3 video card info off the card (pulled it, cut myself again). The new xf86config is all correct. Double checked and A-OK. Over and pass the baton. D.

The mouse pointer just briefly changes to the hour glass. I've tried replacing the Desk.cpl Control Panel Extension file in Windows\System but this made no difference. The problem became apparent after I tried to install Eraser software which failed to install properly and had to be uninstalled manually.

MSDOS progs minimize to task bar instead of taking full screen
I had a failed install of Remote Control and rebooted the machine. I then saw in my CntlPnl SMS that remote control was installed. I took remote control and was able to control my client with the keyboard, but no mouse. So - fresh reboot, NT Client, fresh client install and result - no mouse. What could be up?
